Feeding directions

Young (under six months) / Pregnant/Nursing: Unlimited
Adult Mice (over six months): Unlimited. In addition, it is recommended to feed a limited amount of appropriate fresh fruits and vegetables. Grass hay for foraging and nesting.

*Not intended for adult rats. We encourage pet owners to feed rats over 6 months of age Oxbow’s Adult Rat Food during this stage of life. Please note that these are guidelines. If you have questions about your pet’s daily feeding regimen, please contact your veterinarian or Oxbow for more specific feeding information.

Transitioning Foods:
Week One: Mix ¼ new food with ¾ current food.
Week Two: Mix ½ new food with ½ current food.
Week Three: Mix 3/4 new food with ¼ current food.
